Karen has been working at Collier and Brock since 1988 where she began working for the surgery when it was still at Barassie Street as a nursing auxiliary. Over the years she has taken on many non-clinical tasks and tries to maintain and coordinate a good working balance between all the branches.
Linda started work with Collier and Brock in 1998, prior to this she had been working with the post office for 'more years than (she) cares to remember'. Linda's hobbies include walking, holidays and supporting her football team. Future ambitions are to win the lottery and buy a holiday home in a sunny place……..yeah probably more a dream Linda.
Anne started working part-time for Collier and Brock in Ayr as a locum receptionist and general factotum in October 1997, having obtained early retirement from teaching the year before. She was transferred to Troon in 1999 and went full-time in a sort of job share with Linda! She is now at the stage of 'winding down to (her) bus pass' but hopes not to go for some time yet as she would miss her clients and their chats too much ? . Anne enjoys cycling and walking when she can, she is 'cared for' by 3 cats and numerous fish—both cold water and tropical. She and the cats enjoy a productive garden when weather permits!
Alex has been with us since December 2009 and with inexhaustible patience manages to keep on top quite often under-valued but important job.
