I have been associated with the practice ever since I was a small child. My mother, Betty Castle, was a long time assistant with Miss Murphy even before Bill Collier joined the practice in 1979. I saw practice in the old St Meddans St. surgery when I was a student at Glasgow University. When I qualified in July 1980 I worked for the PDSA in Hull. In 1982 I was persuaded to come back to Troon to work. After some years I stopped work to raise my family but soon rejoined the practice on a part time basis and I have been here ever since.

At home there is husband, Dave, and our youngsters, Callum and Clare. Dave runs our boarding kennels and we also breed Belted Galloways as well as keeping various ponies, cats and dogs too numerous to mention.
