Natalie began working at Collier and Brock in 2001. She enjoys walking her dog and riding her horse and pony. She loves reading but never has enough time to sit down and enjoy this particular pastime. Natalie has a chocolate Labrador, KC registered called ‘Blair’ who you will often see in the Irvine surgery generally carrying the contents of his owner’s bag around. ‘Ben’ a 17.2hh Dutch warmblood and ‘Joe’ a 14.2hh Icelandic Pony now in his twenties.

Elaine has been dog grooming for over 20 years, the last 10 of which she had been self employed and grooming in the far end of the building. Elaine was ready for a change and we're very happy when she accepted a position at Collier and Brock as auxiliary nurse/receptionist in January 2012. Elaine says she is "absolutely loving it, its a very rewarding job meeting lovely pets and clients alike". Elaine dearly loves walking her own pet dog and spends a lot of her spare time outdoors with "bella" around our beautiful countryside.
Jacquie started a work placement with Collier and Brock in October 2009 while doing her Animal Nursing Auxiliary. She has now begun her Veterinary Nurse Training and does block releases between Collier and Brock and Barony College. Jacquie's main ambition for the moment is to 'pass her exams'. With studying, what little spare time left is consumed by looking after her pets: Horlix and Tweety who are both 12 year old cats, Ziggy who is a 2 year old cat and Loui a 25 year old Box Turtle.
Heather started working for Collier and Brock in 1996 with two breaks to develop nursing experience at various veterinary hospitals and emergency out of hours care. Prior to this Heather worked in the United States Air Force living in various states in the USA from which she took an honourable discharge to attend college and university full time. She is studying an Animal Holistic course and upon completion intends to introduce aromatherapy as well as other complimentary treatment clinics. Currently a lot of her time at work is taken up with both IT and Clinical Coaching. Heather has two dogs both of whom are regular sights at the Irvine Surgery—'Ellie' a 9 year old cross breed and 'Max' a 4 year old cross breed and two 16 year old cats 'Munchie' and 'Leah'.
Marie started nursing 26 years ago (in 1985) with Mr Botcherby in Kilmarnock where she stayed until 1988 when Mr Botcherby, who had opened a surgery on Bank Street in Irvine, asked Marie to work there. Mr Botcherby retired in 2001 and Marie stayed on when Collier and Brock took over the practice. Marie has had a lifelong interest in horses (Arabs in particular) and has had both horses and dogs in the past, now preferring to help out with friends' pets. Marie's father came from Poland originally and Marie enjoys visiting Poland when she can.
