Frank qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1980 and spent five years in mixed practice “down south”. He joined the practice in 1985. He is mostly based at Troon, as he understands the computer better than the rest of us, but is available at Irvine on most Tuesdays.

At home there is Julia, his wife, James, Struan and Julianna, the children, as well as Millie May the Labrador and Sammy the cat.

Frank is involved in all aspects of dog and cat medicine but has a particular interest in surgery - mainly soft tissue and orthopaedic work. All this, together with running the practice, combine to keep him from spending too much time on the golf course.
